President Obama's Inauguration

It's all over the news! I know that some of you have watched it. We took a moment to watch President Obama's inauguration. He is the 44th and the 1st African-American President of United States of America. It was a wonderful moment for him. He's being serenaded by the "Queen of the Soul," Aretha Franklin. The singer bedazzled with her voice and did you notice her hat? I listened carefully on his speech. I watched the parade too which is very interesting, colorful and full of fun.

We have a new and fresh President. He will start office on Wednesday, that will be tomorrow after capping inaugural festivities at a national prayer service in the morning. The 44th President said, "We gather because we have chosen hope over fear, unity of purpose over conflict and discord."

Congratulations President Obama!

Hi Hazel, I am in Toronto, Canada and was glued to CNN from 9am till 3PM as well last night seeing them attending those Gala Balls.

He sure one heck of a fantatic guy too. Love his speeches.

I love Beyonce's song, "At Last".
The world world loves Obama! Include Canadians.
You have a nice day, Lee.

Charice sang in one of the gala luncheon held by Fil-Am organizers who helped Obama during his campaign. Maybe she was invited by filipinos over there.
