It's Hubby's Birthday

Today, March 25th is my husband's birthday. We did not do anything much this year as we are preparing for a big trip very soon. So After church, we ate at one of our favorite restaurants in town, watched a movie and went to the park. Happy birthday to my ever loving, sweet and supportive husband!

Today, my husband is celebrating his birthday! We woke up early this morning and get things done around the house. We are going to have a delicious rib-eye steak for dinner later and my surprise for him will be this weekend. Happy birthday my love!

27th Birthday Celebration

Last Tuesay, September 29 was my 27th birthday. My husband got sick. He got colds and not feeling good all day but he was able to treat me in Applebee's to celebrate my birthday. It wasn't a "happy" birthday after all for me because he was sick on the day of my special day. The sweet thing about that night was we were able to eat outside for my birthday dinner. Hubby promised that he will make it up to me.

Nicholas Birthday Party

Last Sunday, August 23rd, it was Nicholas birthday celebration. Go, Diego, Go! was the birthday theme. Nicholas celebrated his 2nd year. The birthday party was full of fun and laughter. Owen and Maria - Nicholas' parents prepared good food for everybody.

The party was not only for kids but also a get together for my Filipina friends. We met new friends who just got married the day before the birthday party. Good food, shared stories, piñata and candy throwing. I got a lot of candies than the kids at the party. I felt like I am one of the kids too! Thanks to Olson Family - Owen, Maria and Nicholas.

A Birthday Celebration

It is my sweetheart's birthday and we are going to celebrate it here in Hawaii! I booked a reservation for a Luau at Polynesian Cultural Center. Right now, we are still in Kauai - The Garden Island of Hawaii. This is the third island we visited in our Hawaiian adventures.

Birthday Celebration

As we celebrate my birthday today, I have some funny memories to share in just few hours of my birthday today. My husband gave me a birthday card with a sweet message inside the card. He surprised me with some colorful roses today and the delicious chocolate-coffee ice cream cake. I made a list of the things I needed because I will be the one to cook for my birthday dinner tonight. I let my husband do the grocery shopping. I found the recipe from the Chinese Cookbook that Wenggay gave me as a souvenir birthday gift from her. I love the Asian Cuisine!

So I cook the Spicy Spareribs and the White and Red Prawn with Vegetables I found in the cookbook. It was delicious! Of course, my husband can attest to that. He actually enjoyed our dinner and so do I. It was like we had dinner in a fine dining restaurant in town by the help of the cookbook. We had a wonderful birthday dinner and ate the chocolate-coffee ice cream cake for dessert too.
